About Summer Village at the Pond

The Summer Village Story

Summer Village at the Pond grew out of a desire to bring back the joy of relaxed family summers spent outdoors. In 2006, local residents David Guthrie and Howard Hall purchased the land previously owned by Wyman’s Beach campground and set to work to make their vision a reality.

The first cottage owners moved in for the season at Summer Village at the Pond in Spring 2008. Since then, most of the community’s 10 neighborhoods have sold out or are almost sold out. The last remaining neighborhood will open for sales in 2015.
